A chronicle of a brand new Nurse Practitioner, fresh out of school, about to embark on her first job. I'm happy to share my ups, downs, my victories, and my, um, *learning opportunities*. Hopefully this will be helpful to some of you pout there who are on a similar journey!

An Apology
So, I must apologize for my lack of blogging action. My online math class has come to its end and I have been really studying to ensure the A I require. So here I am, back to Always Ask the Question(s)…..

Hi Lisa Welcome back. Hope the 'A' came through. I don't think we de-evolve. Natural selection selects. If we eliminate failure, we just don't evolve. But, I think maybe we're still selecting. Maybe we're selecting for something different. People with criminal tendencies get killed and get selected against. Is it natural? Not sure, but I'm not sure it's all bad.
Education is expensive here. Nick's Dallas County tuition was over $1000 (out of county, in-state). It was a lot more at UNT. I think our republican friends are afraid that people turn liberal if they get too educated and want to keep things under control. This might just be my bias, though. --Rob
